"Shirakawa-go" Village - The Scene of Japanese Field, Life with Four Seasons

The Historic Village one of Japan's UNESCO World Heritage Sites known for their houses constructed in the architectural style known as gassho-zukuri, registered in 1995.
The Shirakawa-mura, which is the center of Shirakawa-go is such an important preservation district of historic buildings, currently about 60 houses of the gassho-zukuri remain.
Spraying water to the roofs all at once at the beginning of November is overwhelming.
You can also enjoy the illumination of the houses every weekend from the middle of January to the middle of February.

Shirakawa-go is also where residents live, so please keep off from their sites or fields.
